About the position

The Distribution Operations Manager at LT Foods Americas is responsible for overseeing the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of the company's distribution network. This role involves leading the distribution operations, developing strategic plans, and ensuring sustainable cost reductions while maintaining high service levels. The manager will oversee four US warehouses and build relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) partners, driving continuous improvement and productivity in logistics operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Distribution Operations capability inclusive of all strategy and execution.
  • Develop operating plans, focusing on service while driving continuous improvement and net productivity into logistics operations.
  • Lead day-to-day operations of the warehouse function and build a strategic framework to support long-term growth.
  • Own and manage all distribution spend, delivering the warehouse functional components of the rolling forecast cycles.
  • Implement, own, and refine processes, KPIs, and scorecards to drive functional accountability and deliver results.
  • Balance cost and service to meet LT Foods Americas' customer and consumer expectations.
  • Develop and maintain effective productivity procedures.
  • Maximize facility productivity and utilization.
  • Evolve and implement the Customer Supply Chain strategy to achieve sales and distribution objectives.
  • Leverage, train, and manage the Customer Supply Chain team to grow and manage the business.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and project manager for key operational projects on cross-functional teams.
  • Anticipate customer problems and future trends, assessing opportunities, impacts, and risks while developing solutions.
  • Revise and execute routines and processes to proactively manage product supply and implement action steps to resolve issues.
  • Develop reports and scorecards to communicate key business metrics and performance to influence actions.
  • Recognize trends and communicate insights to internal and external partners to influence strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, or related field.
  • 10+ years of related logistics experience, ideally within the consumer products space.
  • Experience developing, presenting, and rolling out strategic initiatives for the distribution network.
  • Flexibility to travel.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft products, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit.
