About the position

Ride1Up is a leading e-commerce company focused on the sale of electric bikes direct to consumer. We are seeking a Director of eCommerce & Digital Marketing who will play a pivotal role in shaping our digital marketing and branding strategy. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fun, fast-paced industry while developing a long-term comprehensive marketing strategy. The Director of Digital Marketing will report directly to the CEO and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our digital marketing efforts. This includes managing various digital marketing channels such as paid media, affiliate marketing, blogs, and email marketing. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience in all digital marketing channels and a strong creative background, particularly in branding. Experience in the bicycle industry is a major requirement for this role, as it will inform the development of our marketing strategies and campaigns. In this role, you will be tasked with building our digital marketing roadmap, managing and improving online content, and developing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure return on investment (ROI). You will also be responsible for creating specific campaigns aimed at maintaining high levels of customer interaction and engagement. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with SEO and Google Analytics management, as well as familiarity with web design and e-commerce platforms, particularly WooCommerce. Excellent leadership and communication skills are essential, as you will be leading a team and collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve our marketing goals. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities is crucial for success in this role.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, digital technologies or relevant field
  • Experience in designing and implementing successful digital marketing campaigns
  • Strong understanding of various current digital marketing functions (e.g., FB ad platform, Google Ads, Programmatic, and Affiliate Marketing Platforms)
  • Hands-on experience with SEO/SEM, Google Analytics and CRM software
  • Familiarity with web design
  • E-commerce experience (WooCommerce desired)
  • Bike industry experience required
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
