About the position
The Director of Early Childhood Services at Lutheran Services in Iowa is a leadership role responsible for overseeing home visiting programs statewide. This position plays a crucial role in providing guidance, education, and critical care to parents of young children, ensuring the effective implementation and evaluation of services to meet desired outcomes. The Director will work closely with various departments to achieve agency strategic goals and directly supervise Early Childhood Service Coordinators and Project Managers.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all Early Childhood programming across the state of Iowa.
- Manage program funding, budget, compliance, metrics, and success.
- Supervise Early Childhood Service Coordinators and Project Manager.
- Coach and support Early Childhood staff development and performance.
- Coordinate program development and successful implementation of services.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of services to meet desired outcomes.
- Collaborate with various service and support departments toward agency strategic goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in health or human service related field.
- Minimum of ten years of related experience.
- Five years of supervisory experience.
