About the position

The Director of Employment Brand at Gaylord Hotels is responsible for developing and implementing recruitment marketing strategies to attract, engage, and retain top talent. This role involves leading creative campaigns and utilizing digital technologies to enhance the brand's market perception among current and prospective associates. The Director collaborates with key stakeholders to align strategies with the enterprise vision and acts as a liaison for brand recruitment projects across properties and regional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and administer a multi-year employment brand strategy that aligns with business priorities.
  • Create and own the employment brand value proposition, positioning, messaging, and creative strategy in collaboration with the brand management & marketing organization.
  • Lead the execution of the overall employer brand and strategic plans to enhance the brand's reputation in the marketplace.
  • Identify and monitor metrics to track employment brand performance and recommend improvements.
  • Create a strategy to gather and analyze metrics related to the candidate journey.
  • Lead the development of the careers micro-site in partnership with the marketing team.
  • Create innovative employment brand and marketing programs for candidate and associate touchpoints.
  • Manage relationships with agency partners to create media content and promotional materials.
  • Direct the implementation of recruitment marketing initiatives and related collateral.
  • Serve as a brand champion with expert knowledge on the brand's employment value positioning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related major, or 8+ years of relevant professional experience in brand employment marketing and recruiting.
  • Proven track record in designing, developing, implementing, and optimizing high-impact solutions in large organizations.
  • Expertise in digital and visual platforms including graphic design, video, and social media.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

  • Experience in marketing analytics and business acumen.
