About the position

Estes Energetics is seeking an experienced Director of Engineering and Operations to lead the engineering and operations teams in designing, developing, and delivering high-quality products. The role requires a strong technical background, exceptional leadership and communication skills, and a proven track record in managing complex projects and teams. The Director will oversee project management, provide technical guidance, and develop strategies to enhance the company's capabilities while ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team of engineers and operations professionals.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering and operations projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and deadlines.
• Provide expert technical guidance and support to the engineering and operations teams.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance the company's engineering and operations capabilities.
• Ensure that all engineering and operational projects meet rigorous quality standards and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years experience in a technical leadership role, managing engineering teams and projects.
• Strong technical background.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
