Director of Enterprise Architecture

About the position

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Architecture to lead the development and implementation of our company's technology architecture. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing the company's technology strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving innovation and excellence in our technology platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives.
• Provide leadership and direction to the architecture team.
• Develop and maintain a technology roadmap that outlines the company's technology plans and priorities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to design and implement technology solutions.
• Establish and maintain technology governance processes.
• Identify and evaluate emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technology solutions meet business requirements.
• Develop and manage the technology budget.
• Identify and mitigate technology risks.
• Develop and manage the architecture team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in technology architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of technology trends and emerging technologies.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with technology governance and budgeting.
• Strong understanding of risk management and compliance.
• Certifications: TOGAF, ITIL, or other relevant certifications preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working in the health insurance industry.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools, including Agile, Scrum, and CI/CD.
• Experience with data analytics platforms, including data warehousing, business intelligence, and data science.
• Understanding of the AI landscape and experience with Generative AI solutions.
