About the position

As the Director of Enterprise Growth Marketing at Verkada, you will play a pivotal role in redefining our B2B marketing strategies. This position is designed for a hands-on builder who is not only capable of managing a diverse team of marketers but also possesses the strategic insight to drive significant revenue impact through innovative marketing campaigns. You will work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer and the Growth team to brainstorm and execute out-of-the-box experiments that will enhance our marketing efforts and directly contribute to the bottom line. Your leadership will be crucial in strategizing and executing Account-Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns that quantitatively demonstrate their effectiveness on our top strategic accounts. In this role, you will engage with our rapidly growing Enterprise Sales teams to support partner marketing initiatives and align with team goals. Collaboration will be key as you partner with content, solutions, and creative marketing teams to effectively position our products across various industries. You will also work alongside the marketing operations team to automate and scale campaigns that yield a positive return on investment. Building a high-performing team of motivated individuals with both high IQ and EQ will be essential to achieving pipeline and revenue targets. This position requires a commitment to being on-site at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA, five days a week, fostering a thriving in-office culture that encourages collaboration and innovation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, management experience, and a passion for creative problem-solving, making this an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact at Verkada.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside Verkada's CMO and the Growth team to brainstorm and execute on new out-of-the-box experiments to deliver, target, and run marketing campaigns that drive direct revenue impact
  • Strategize and execute on ABM or volume-based campaigns that quantitatively prove impact to the bottom line of our top strategic accounts
  • Engage with a fast-growing Enterprise Sales team to support partner marketing efforts and team goals
  • Partner with the content, solutions, and creative marketing teams to best position our products across multiple industries
  • Work closely with the marketing operations team to automate and scale campaigns that are widely ROI positive
  • Build a team of highly motivated individuals with high IQ/EQ who can operate together to hit pipeline and revenue targets

Requirements

  • 4-year undergraduate bachelor's degree (top 20 school highly preferred)
  • 7 - 12 years of work experience including at least 2 years in marketing
  • At least 2 years of management experience of full-time employees
  • Business-level English fluency in verbal and written communication
  • Impeccable quantitative ability to analyze data
  • A hacker's type mentality full of curiosity and creativity
  • Relentless puzzle solving obsession
  • Inbox 0 type personality
  • SQL, Python (or equivalent), and Javascript strongly preferred
