About the position

The Director of Enterprise Systems is responsible for overseeing the technology architecture and the design, implementation, and leadership of a distributed operations enterprise at OSU-OKC. This role involves managing the business application infrastructure, providing strategic leadership for customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and ensuring the effective use of instructional technologies and decision-making data for university stakeholders. The position requires a strong background in enterprise intelligence systems and database management, particularly with Amazon Web Services and SQL.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the design, implementation, and leadership of distributed operations enterprise.
  • Oversee the selection, design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the OSU-OKC business application infrastructure.
  • Provide leadership in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives and processes for instructional technologies and decision-making data.
  • Manage the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and increase adoption while ensuring governance and compliance.
  • Act as the primary liaison with system developers and responsible departments for ongoing and new development, documentation, and training of complex systems.
  • Proactively manage university data and resolve impediments to timely information delivery.
  • Develop complex time-sensitive integrations for campus stakeholders and database-driven services for applications.
  • Provide oversight for enterprise-level instructional technology resources and tools.
  • Prepare recommendations and manage budgets for areas of responsibility.
  • Negotiate technology procurements and contracts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in management information systems, computer science, business, or a closely related field.
  • Direct administration and technical leadership of integrated CRM platforms.
  • Experience with Ellucian Banner systems and complex system integrations.
  • 3-5 years of SQL and Windows server administration experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in enterprise/business intelligence systems and/or database management including Microsoft and AWS technologies.
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience as a manager/supervisor of small to medium-sized enterprise system or development teams.
  • Experience in server and client virtualization and project planning, implementation, and management.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • 5 years of experience as an enterprise system manager or development supervisor.
  • Master's degree in management information systems, computer science, business, or a closely related field.
  • Previous experience in a university/higher education environment.
  • Prior experience in supporting advanced CRM systems in a university environment.
