About The Position
Anderson University's College of Business (COB) invites applications for a 12-month, full-time, Director of Experiential Education. Anderson University is an innovative and entrepreneurial comprehensive, liberal arts university affiliated with the South Carolina Baptist Convention. The Director for Experiential Education will provide key leadership in developing and managing professional opportunities for students in the College of Business. The Director will work to cultivate and sustain external relationships with industry supervisors and human resources teams to increase the exposure of Anderson University's College of Business as a top choice for Spring, Summer, and Fall internship and co-op programs. This position will maintain effective communication with students throughout the duration of their internship or co-op residency and provide required documentation and year end reports to the University Registrar, Financial Aid, and other university offices. The Director of Experiential Education will collaborate with the COB Corporate Event Coordinator on events throughout the year including, but not limited to, fall and spring networking events, meet and greets for incoming/transfer students, and the Fall Internship Recognition Luncheon. Additional assistance with Basecamp, scholarship competitions, or other COB events or presentations, as needed.
