About the position

The Director of Field Operations is responsible for overseeing the Scatter-site field coordination team, ensuring efficient management of apartment turnover, and coordinating client move-ins and move-outs. This role involves supervising Field Coordinators, collaborating with property management to address landlord issues, and maintaining communication with vendors. The Director tracks inspections and repairs, creates reports to monitor progress, and facilitates emergency responses as needed. Additionally, the position includes attending interdepartmental meetings to discuss procedures and manage work order requests, ultimately ensuring a seamless operation that supports clients and enhances service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Scatter-site field coordination team functions with the Director of Scattered Site Operations.
  • Supervise Field Coordinators.
  • Manage apartment turnover (junk removal, repairs, furniture delivery, ordering).
  • Coordinate client move-ins and move-outs.
  • Schedule vendors and facilitate apartment entry.
  • Address landlord issues with property management and residential services.
  • Track inspection forms and ensure repairs are completed, creating reports as needed.
  • Be available for emergencies.
  • Accompany staff on home visits as necessary.
  • Attend meetings to discuss procedures and turnover/work order requests; facilitate weekly Maintenance meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience in Scatter-site housing.
  • Supervisory experience is required.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Organizational skills and stress-resistant.
  • Flexible and a team player open to feedback.
  • Experience working with individuals with mental illness, including crisis intervention and managing trauma-triggered behavior.
  • Willingness to perform CPR, First Aid, AED, CPI, and Naloxone.

Nice-to-haves

  • Preferred knowledge of AWARDS.
  • Bilingual Spanish is highly desired.
