About the position

The Director of Sales is responsible for building strategy and leading a team of sales professionals in the US to achieve sales and revenue growth goals. This role emphasizes performance accountability, collaboration with various leadership teams, and effective management of sales processes to drive excellence and optimize opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize total new sales and revenue growth within assigned district.
  • Create and execute strategic and quota retirement plans for a team of 50-70 sales professionals.
  • Manage sales and renewal pipeline health with clear metrics and accountabilities.
  • Collaborate with FindLaw Sales Leadership, Commercial Excellence, and Sales Operations on plan execution.
  • Drive effective contact management strategies and lead Regional Sales Managers in client engagement.
  • Deliver target financial and strategy objectives for the sub-segment, including gross sales growth and customer acquisitions.
  • Provide accurate forecasting and constant pipeline management.
  • Achieve sales quota and revenue retention targets consistently.
  • Utilize CRM systems and operational data for sales management.
  • Refresh strategic workforce and improve organizational effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in sales and sales leadership.
  • 4-6 years of experience in direct client relationship management.
  • Experience in a digital marketing business preferred.
  • Excellent leadership skills focused on accountability and team empowerment.
  • Strategic thinking skills with effective account planning and sales negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing technology environment.
  • Ambitious self-starter with high energy and motivation.
  • Knowledge of legal markets and online legal products is a plus.
  • Four-year degree required; JD plus MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
