About the position

The Finance Director will play a crucial role in a rapidly growing B2B SaaS company, focusing on financial strategy and management. This newly created executive position will involve collaboration with the Executive President, CFO, and COO to drive financial performance and ensure alignment with revenue and profit goals. The role is fully remote and offers significant growth potential as the company aims to double its revenue.

Responsibilities

• Ensure key financial metrics are met and reported accurately.
• Conduct financial modeling to support revenue and profit goals.
• Perform actual to budget/variance analysis to track financial performance.
• Lead financial planning and performance analysis, including KPI tracking.
• Prepare board presentations with strong data insights.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting functions including revenue recognition, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and manage financial statement reviews and audits.

Requirements

• CPA, CFA, CMA, MBA or similar preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles.
• Public accounting experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems, particularly in a SaaS environment, is highly preferred.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field.
