About the position

The Director of Finance will oversee financial analysis, performance, and process implementation to enhance operational efficiencies and financial performance across the organization. This role involves leading a team across finance, accounting, procurement, and IT functions, with direct reporting to the company's President and frequent interaction with the Leadership Team and Board of Directors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute monthly financial closes, ensuring adherence to GAAP standards.
• Oversee cash reconciliations, landed costs, and proper financial procedures.
• Manage financial planning and analysis, including budgeting and financial reporting.
• Collaborate closely with the Director of Procurement to align financial and operational strategies.
• Lead financial audits in coordination with external audit firms.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Lead tax filings in coordination with external tax advisors.
• Supervise a small finance team and additional third-party support.
• Prepare and present financial reports to the Board of Directors.
• Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration with an emphasis in Accounting.
• CPA preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with NetSuite or equivalent ERP systems.
• 3 years of experience in finance analysis.
• Strong leadership abilities with a hands-on approach.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the beverage equipment or craft beer industry is helpful but not required.
