As the Director of Finance and Accounting at Chaminade Julienne Catholic High School, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all finance and accounting functions within the institution. This position is designed for a seasoned finance professional who is passionate about making a significant impact in a mission-centric educational environment. Your expertise in accounting, budgeting, financial management, and reporting will be crucial in supporting the school's mission and ensuring its financial health. You will be part of the Leadership Team and Planning Council, participating in strategic planning and decision-making processes that shape the future of the school. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and providing timely financial statements while overseeing daily financial operations. You will develop and monitor annual budgets, conducting regular reviews with department managers to ensure financial accountability. Additionally, you will lead the development of the annual budget and manage efforts to collect overdue accounts, supporting collection efforts as needed. Your financial reporting responsibilities will include managing banking and financial relationships, preparing necessary reports, accounts receivable aging reports, and tax documentation, as well as financial reports requested by leadership, the Board, and other partners. You will also support and guide effective human resources activities, participating in reviews of compensation and employee benefits while ensuring compliance with organizational and legal requirements. Furthermore, you will analyze and manage tuition planning and assistance allocation, communicate tuition collection practices and policies to parents, and review payroll processes and employee benefits.
