About the position

The Director of Finance & Operations at BIG Incentive Group is responsible for overseeing all financial planning, legal compliance, intercompany accounting, and IT management functions. This leadership role is crucial for ensuring the financial integrity and operational efficiency of the organization as it continues to grow. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and expertise in finance, legal frameworks, intercompany transfers, and technology management, working closely with various departments to ensure smooth financial flows and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, implementation, and tracking of the company's annual budgets.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align financial planning with business strategies and manage cash flow.
  • Develop competitive pricing structures in collaboration with sales and business development teams.
  • Lead revenue forecasting efforts and develop financial models to identify growth opportunities.
  • Implement and oversee the Concur expense management system for efficient tracking of expenditures.
  • Develop and manage receivable insurance policies to safeguard cash flow.
  • Manage all intercompany transactions and transfers between subsidiaries and business units.
  • Draft, review, and manage all legal agreements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop strategies to mitigate legal and financial risks and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Lead the company's tax compliance efforts and develop strategies to optimize tax positions.
  • Manage IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring security and scalability.
  • Evaluate and recommend technology investments that enhance productivity and reduce costs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in financial management, legal oversight, intercompany accounting, and IT operations.
  • Strong knowledge of intercompany accounting principles and financial transfers.
  • Experience with contract management, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation.
  • Expertise in budgeting, financial forecasting, and pricing strategies.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure management and data security protocols.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA or CPA certification is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with tax optimization strategies is highly desired.
