As the Director of Finance, you will play a critical role in the growth of the organization, which is actively increasing its operations and workforce. You will lead and advocate for a dedicated team, including a Controller and Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable staff members, ensuring their success and development. In this role, you will establish and maintain robust controls and systems, including inventory and costing controls. You will be responsible for preparing comprehensive budgets, analyzing financial trends, and making sound investment decisions to enhance the company's portfolio. Additionally, you will oversee revenue and lease accounting, intercompany activities, financial reporting, and audits to ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies. Your leadership will foster an environment of continuous improvement, and you will handle ad hoc duties and special projects as necessary. As a proactive co-pilot to the CEO, you will have a voice in strategic decision-making, making this a highly impactful position within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain robust controls and systems, including inventory and costing controls.

Requirements

  • CPA certification.
  • Proven experience in heavy or industrial manufacturing.
  • Strong background in establishing financial controls and systems.
  • Ability to prepare and communicate complex financial models and forecasts.
