The Ottawa County Family Advocacy Center (OCFAC) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part-Time Director of Finance to oversee the financial operations of the organization. This role is crucial in ensuring that OCFAC maintains complete and accurate financial records, which are essential for the effective functioning of the center. The Director of Finance will report directly to the Executive Director and will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of the organization, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with proficiency in QuickBooks and a solid understanding of financial reporting requirements. In this position, the Director of Finance will maintain all financial records using QuickBooks, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded and organized. The role involves processing payroll and related taxes, preparing monthly financial reports for the Board of Directors, and maintaining grant accounts while reporting to grant sources as needed. Additionally, the Director will prepare and coordinate annual audits and the preparation of IRS Form 990. As the organization evolves, the Director of Finance may also take on additional responsibilities to support the growth and development of OCFAC.
