About the position

The Director of Finance at Beewise will be instrumental in shaping the financial strategy for the company's US operations. This leadership role demands a strategic thinker with a robust finance background, exceptional analytical skills, and the capability to lead and inspire a finance team. The position encompasses overseeing all financial aspects of the business, ensuring financial health, and supporting growth objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and objectives.
• Provide strategic recommendations to the executive team based on financial analysis and projections.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, including the preparation and analysis of budgets and forecasts.
• Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records and reports.
• Manage cash flow, investments, and financing activities.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve high performance and continuous improvement.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
• Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate financial risks.
• Act as a key point of contact for financial stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
• Prepare and present financial reports to the executive team, board of directors, and investors.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and systems.
• Implement best practices in financial management and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience in high-growth startups is required.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing financial strategies.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
• Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.
