About the position

The Director of Finance at MSI TEC, Inc. plays a crucial role as part of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), responsible for implementing financial strategies to navigate the company through periods of high growth. This position oversees the financial operations of the company, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and maintaining accurate financial records. The Director will also manage the Human Resource department's policies and activities, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and talent strategy.

Responsibilities

• Implement financial strategies to manage the company through high growth.
• Establish and manage financial controls, including segregation of duties and procedures.
• Oversee risk analysis and management of company assets.
• Manage company tax returns and liaise with auditors regarding accounting policies and tax compliance.
• Provide accurate financial information to the ELT and Board of Directors.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and other statutory requirements in accounting records.
• Create and maintain ERP documentation and process flows.
• Troubleshoot and solve business processes and operational issues.
• Plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate HR department activities.
• Act as the first point of contact on legal matters and disputes.

Requirements

• Experience in finance, accounting, reporting, and control within the technology and manufacturing industries.
• Ability to understand and interpret agreements/contracts in the industrial technology business.
• Knowledge of revenue recognition impacts related to value-added services, SaaS, and engineering services.
