About the position

The Director of Finance at Alliance Integrated Marketing Services (AIMS) is responsible for managing the company's office processes and accounting systems. This role involves reviewing and improving financial policies, systems, and procedures to ensure efficient office operations. The Director will maintain financial records, oversee budgeting, and provide financial reports to the management team, while also training new employees on best practices related to financial management.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the training of new employees regarding best practices for business expenses, payroll, and expense reporting.
  • Create new practices for employees to encourage cost savings.
  • Develop, review, and improve administrative systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure the office is stocked with necessary supplies and all equipment is maintained.
  • Work with the management team to set budgets, monitor spending, and process payroll.
  • Collect, organize, and store information using computers and filing systems.
  • Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the cost allocation process.
  • Communicate with nationwide venues to create contracts for appropriate sponsorship terms.
  • Communicate with nationwide venues to collect POP information and process payment.
  • Reconcile accounts and provide financial reports to the management team.
  • Assist the engagement team with activation at events and other team members as necessary.
  • Assist in social media purchasing.
  • Assist in ride share purchasing for the Sober Ride projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or related field.
  • Ability to multi-task and work within tight deadlines.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams and QuickBooks accounting software.

  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Coaching, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to plan for and keep track of multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with budget planning and enforcement, and human resources.
  • Fluency in Spanish.
