About the position

The Director of Finance is responsible for implementing the company's financial policies and procedures, overseeing the preparation and reporting of financial data, and managing all accounting functions. This role involves strategic planning, budget management, and ensuring timely financial reporting while coordinating audits and providing analysis to support business strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Implement the company's financial policies and procedures.
  • Direct the accumulation, recording, preparation, and reporting of financial data.
  • Prepare, analyze, and reconcile financial statements and related reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Develop, interpret, and implement systems and processes for timely financial reporting.
  • Manage all budget process activities and forecast operational and financial aspects.
  • Coordinate all internal and external financial audits.
  • Manage all accounting functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and purchasing.
  • Provide analysis and evaluation of business strategies and assist with strategic planning.
  • Supervise monthly balancing of books and monthly account reviews.
  • Prepare, analyze, and reconcile monthly financial statements.
  • Provide management with timely reviews of the organization's financial status and progress.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance and oversight of subordinates and promote performance recognition.
  • Identify problem areas and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities as requested.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in financial management and accounting functions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Experience with financial reporting and budgeting processes.
