The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of five years of professional experience in the government sector or a related field, with at least three years in a management or supervisory role. A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or a related field is required, while a CPA license or a Master’s degree is considered desirable but not mandatory. The Director of Finance will play a crucial role in maintaining the District's financial health and will be expected to lead a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the financial operations of the Midway City Sanitary District.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to the General Manager and Board of Directors.
  • Manage and supervise the finance team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and budgets to stakeholders.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance and recommend improvements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of professional experience in government sector accounting or finance.
  • At least three years of responsible management and supervisory experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Possession of a CPA license or a Master’s degree is desirable but not required.
