About the position

The Director of Finance is responsible for directing the financial activities of the organization, specifically for the Las Vegas Market. This role involves establishing economic strategies, maintaining internal control systems, and ensuring timely completion of financial statements and regulatory reporting. The Director will also assist in budget creation and monitoring, while leading a team to achieve financial objectives.

Responsibilities

• Direct financial activities of the organization for the Las Vegas Market.
• Establish economic strategies, objectives, and policies for the company.
• Maintain Internal Control System and Policies and Procedures in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly financial statements and regulatory reporting.
• Assist with the creation of the annual budget and monitor it monthly with area Vice Presidents.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA preferred).
• Minimum of five years of accounting/finance experience.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to financial reporting.
• Comprehensive knowledge of general ledger, account reconciliation, and capital budgeting.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
• Strong leadership skills and customer service orientation.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to handle multiple projects.
