About the position

The Director of Finance is responsible for managing the financial health of the organization by ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. This role involves driving financial operations in alignment with the company's culture, mission, values, and goals, while collaborating with various departments to optimize financial performance and integrate strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent and accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes to support company goals and financial stability.
• Manage financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Implement and maintain strong internal controls to prevent errors and support regulatory compliance.
• Monitor financial KPIs and metrics, updating leadership on performance relative to budget and goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial operations with strategic priorities.
• Oversee compliance efforts to ensure adherence to relevant financial regulations and standards.
• Identify and implement process improvements within financial operations to drive efficiency.
• Participate in weekly leadership meetings and present relevant financial insights.
• Provide mentorship to finance team members to foster development and accountability.
• Deliver on KPI outcomes that align with financial and operational goals (monthly, quarterly, yearly).

Requirements

• CPA certification (Preferred)
• 5 years of experience in financial acumen (Required)
• Experience in financial report writing
• Knowledge of GAAP
• Experience in forecasting and budgeting
