The Director of Finance for the City of Chino is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the Finance Department, which includes managing an operating budget of $20.4 million and leading a team of 23 full-time and four part-time employees. Responsibilities

• Oversee the Finance Department's operations and budget management.
• Lead and support a team of finance professionals, ensuring effective collaboration and performance.
• Implement best business practices and integrate technology to enhance financial operations.
• Provide financial guidance and support to other city departments and stakeholders.
• Develop and manage financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Requirements

• Five years of progressively responsible administrative experience in municipal finance.
• Five years of supervisory experience in a finance-related role.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• CPA certification is desired.
