About the position

The Director of Finance at Alyrica Networks is responsible for overseeing all finance and human resource activities within the company. This role involves planning, implementing, and managing financial operations while ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, the ability to translate complex financial concepts, and a passion for leading and developing teams. The Director will also play a crucial role in budgeting, forecasting, and securing funding for capital projects, contributing to the overall growth and financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Oversight of the financial well-being of the company, including managing the operating budget, cash flow, and growth capacity.
  • Act as a source of knowledge for all employees regarding HR/Finance matters.
  • Provide forecasting models based on company goals.
  • Lead Human Resources, including developing processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Lead teams responsible for fleet management, inventory management, and surplus.
  • Secure funding for capital expansion projects.
  • Manage facilities and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee internal and external financial reporting that complies with GAAP.
  • Manage the audit process.

Requirements

  • College degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in accounting best practices.
  • Strong comprehension of financial tools, budgeting, forecasting, and financials.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate Alyrica's core values.
  • Must be able to sit or stand for long periods.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field (Finance, Accounting, Business, etc.).
  • Previously held a position as a Finance Director or Controller.
  • 10+ years of leadership experience.
  • Experience in a role responsible for raising capital.
  • Experience overseeing third-party financial audits.
  • Experience presenting to and serving on a board of directors.
