About the position

The Director of Finance at Southwest Medical Center plays a crucial role in overseeing the financial and accounting functions of the organization. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and communicating any deficiencies in financial controls or risks to the CFO on a monthly basis, thereby contributing to the overall financial strategy and operational efficiency of the medical center. In addition to managing the financial reporting processes, the Director of Finance will also be involved in strategic planning and decision-making, providing insights that will guide the organization in achieving its financial goals. The position demands a high level of analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to ensure that financial practices align with the organization's objectives. The Director will lead a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the finance department.

Requirements

• BS or BA degree in accounting or other business-related major.
• Minimum of 5 years of applicable experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
