About the position

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Finance to oversee all aspects of financial management and reporting for our organization. This critical role will be responsible for guiding the financial strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving financial performance to support our growth and profitability goals. The Director of Finance will develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives, providing strategic recommendations to the CEO and senior management team based on financial analysis and projections. In this role, you will oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. You will monitor cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions to ensure the financial health of the organization. As a leader, you will mentor and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and continuous improvement within the finance department. Compliance is a key aspect of this position; you will ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and reporting requirements while developing and implementing internal controls to mitigate financial and operational risks. You will prepare timely and accurate financial reports, statements, and forecasts, analyzing financial data and presenting it in a clear and concise manner to support decision-making processes. Additionally, you will collaborate with senior management to identify opportunities for cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and operational efficiency improvements.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• Proven experience in a senior financial management role, preferably in the retail industry.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and regulatory requirements.
• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to mentor and develop teams.
• Strategic thinker with excellent analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
