About the position

The Director of Food & Beverage Outlets at the Inn on Fifth in Naples, FL, is responsible for overseeing the food and beverage operations, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for guests. This role involves collaboration with various teams, including Sales and Marketing, to support events and manage daily operations across multiple outlets. The director will also focus on menu development, inventory management, and compliance with culinary regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Food and Beverage Team to provide an excellent food and beverage experience for guests.
  • Plan, prep, set-up, serve, and provide daily quality food and beverage for Club Level Suites and Blu Pool Bar & Grill.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Catering Teams to execute events, managing set-up, food delivery, clean-up, and customer billing.
  • Assist Team Members to ensure optimum service to guests.
  • Conduct periodic menu cost analysis and develop new menu options.
  • Manage inventory within established budgetary requirements.
  • Place food and beverage orders and source items through approved vendors.
  • Oversee scheduling and training of the food and beverage team.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for Culinary and Serving teams.
  • Expand F&B offerings to increase revenue opportunities.
  • Oversee multiple outlets including Blu Pool Bar & Grill, Room Service, Banquets, Club Lounge, Team Member Dining, Main and Club Kitchens, and Fifth Avenue Events.
  • Perform Manager on Duty responsibilities as scheduled.

Requirements

  • A minimum of three to five years culinary/front of house experience.
  • One year of management experience in culinary/front of house operations.
  • Knowledge and practical experience in meal planning and preparation.
  • Ability to communicate in a professional and friendly manner with staff and guests (bilingual in English/Spanish).
  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
