This role leads and executes the SQF Certification strategy and programs, as well as Gluten-Free Certification strategy and programs at company manufacturing facilities. The Director will lead all third-party, customer, and internal audits, ensuring constant audit readiness. This position manages the Quality team, enforcing company standards and procedures to guarantee compliance with federal, state, and local regulators and audit certifications. Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining proactive quality, safety, and sanitation standards, processes, and documentation to meet requirements for retail and warehouse customers, SQF, GFCO, OSHA, FDA, EPA, and other regulatory agencies. The role focuses on developing and implementing systems for the highest degree of Food Safety and Quality in the industry, overseeing all HACCP, pre-requisite quality programs, and quality/food safety related programs to meet regulatory requirements. Monitoring compliance with FSMA rules and regulations, championing quality and food safety initiatives, and ensuring timely implementation of plant audit corrective action plans are key. The Director will also champion change management execution and oversee a thriving food safety culture, in addition to leading customer service efforts through documentation and analysis of feedback.
