About the position

The Director of FP&A will be responsible for leading financial planning and analysis activities within a multi-unit healthcare company. This role involves overseeing full P&L management, collaborating with C-Suite team members, and providing critical insights to support strategic decision-making. The position requires expertise in budgeting tools and a strong background in financial management, with a focus on enhancing financial performance and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the complete P&L for the organization, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Lead the corporate financial planning and analysis process, collaborating with department heads to develop annual budgets and forecasts.
• Provide insightful variance analysis, highlighting key drivers of financial performance to aid in decision-making.
• Utilize advanced budgeting tools such as Planful, Vena, or Adaptive Insights/Adaptive Planning to streamline and enhance the budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models to facilitate scenario analysis, long-term planning, and sensitivity analysis.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements, collaborating with external auditors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience (8+ years) in a similar role, with a focus on full P&L management and corporate FP&A.
• Multi-Site industry experience is required.
• Expertise in using budgeting tools such as Planful, Vena, or Adaptive Insights/Adaptive Planning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
