About the position
The Director of Front Office at White Lodging is responsible for developing department strategy and overseeing the front office team to ensure smooth daily operations. This role focuses on enhancing guest satisfaction, maintaining brand standards, and fostering associate engagement while managing financial aspects such as budgeting and payroll.
Responsibilities
- Develop department strategy and support the front office team in daily operations.
- Drive action planning and goal setting for Guest Satisfaction Score and Brand Standards Audit.
- Play a key role in recruiting and retaining talent, including involvement in hiring, orientation, coaching, and performance management.
- Perform hands-on duties as needed, including financials, payroll, and scheduling.
Requirements
- Prior hotel leadership experience, preferably in an upscale property or specific brand hotel.
- Experience with budgeting, long-range forecasting, and P&L critique.
- Desire to develop and coach associates, creating a thriving environment for the team.
- Ability to creatively problem-solve and execute strategies to deliver results.
