About the position

The Director of Frontend Development is a strategic leadership role focused on enhancing front-end technology across the organization. This position involves collaborating with various stakeholders to implement technology strategies and drive complex business initiatives, ensuring a world-class customer experience through quality, scalability, and resilience in integrated systems and commerce platforms.

Responsibilities

• Execute and refine tech stacks and high-level architecture while providing technical vision for the teams.
• Provide leadership to cross-functional teams addressing complex business issues with interdependencies and related technology efforts.
• Responsible for the long-term technology strategy for integrated systems and commerce platforms.
• Manage and coordinate outsourced technology teams with diverse skill sets.
• Define and drive architectural strategy to enable a world-class customer experience.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in Information Technology with a focus on running front-end teams.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems or Computer Engineering is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, prioritize, and evaluate new ideas with internal and external partners.
• Deep and advanced knowledge of the software development life cycle, including quality engineering, architecture, product, and program management.
• Experience in the retail industry is a MUST.
