About the position

As the Director of Global Sales for E2E Enterprise Service Management at IFS, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and transforming service management solutions for our clients. This position is designed for a revenue-generating leader who is passionate about technology and its ability to empower businesses. You will thrive in high-stakes sales environments, crafting winning solutions for complex challenges and leading a team of Account Executives to success. Your primary responsibility will be to champion our game-changing ESM software, showcasing how it unlocks transformative field service management capabilities. You will partner closely with Account Executives to craft compelling proposals that position IFS as the clear choice for driving efficiency and enhancing customer satisfaction. In this role, you will be expected to close significant deals by becoming a trusted advisor within the sales team. You will expertly guide Account Executives through the sales cycle, identifying and qualifying high-value opportunities. Your ability to develop accurate forecasts and drive deals to successful closure will be crucial. Additionally, you will proactively collaborate with Account Executives to understand customer needs and buying teams, developing winning strategies to overcome roadblocks and secure executive buy-in for large-scale deals. Your expertise and best practices will shape the future of sales at IFS, guiding the team to consistently exceed sales targets. This position requires a deep understanding of enterprise service management best practices, including ITIL and ITSM, and how they translate to real-world business value. You will need to be an ESM expert, fluent in the technology's architecture and capabilities, able to explain complex concepts in a clear and compelling way that resonates with executives. An entrepreneurial mindset, innate curiosity, and resilience are essential traits for success in this role. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, along with exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills, will enable you to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, influencing decisions and driving action.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Proven ability to consistently meet and over-achieve quota and lead sales teams, ideally with experience in activating indirect sales forces within the service management domain.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise service management best practices (ITIL, ITSM) and their translation to real-world business value.
  • Expertise in ESM technology's architecture and capabilities, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to executives.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with innate curiosity and resilience.
  • Willingness and appreciation of the sales process, including cadence, forecasting, and accurate reporting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills.
