About the position

The Director of Growth and Attribution is responsible for leading the consumer growth strategy through digital media and analytics. This role focuses on developing and executing performance marketing programs aimed at client/user acquisition across various channels. The ideal candidate will leverage complex customer data to inform acquisition strategies, manage multiple workstreams, and collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to drive performance and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee customer acquisition teams and channels including search, paid social, display, and video.
  • Work alongside external media partners to ideate, test, and execute campaigns across various platforms.
  • Build omni-channel and automated reporting around core audience segments.
  • Align sales forecasting to weekly/monthly performance reporting for a holistic view of business performance.
  • Design and manage report delivery solutions, such as portals and dashboards, within supported BI tools and infrastructure.
  • Identify, test, measure, and optimize existing channels to grow revenue while maintaining strong LTV/CAC ratio and unit economics.
  • Identify opportunities to scale existing channels and find new, viable channel opportunities for continued growth.
  • Lead development of various customer models including customer lifetime value, RFM segmentation, brand lift, behavioral segmentation, and propensity modeling.
  • Collaborate with brand marketing and creative teams to develop effective messaging and assets for performance channels.
  • Establish KPIs and metrics for success; provide regular performance reports; track and adhere to budgets.
  • Create attribution strategies and programs to understand channel efficacy.
  • Help create and execute daily/weekly growth experiments across acquisition channels.
  • Partner with agency and team to establish monthly/annual channel traffic, sales, spend, and customer forecasts.

Requirements

  • Prior experience working in an e-commerce and/or retail environment or agency is required.
  • 7+ years overseeing customer acquisition marketing channels and paid digital advertising with Paid Social and Paid Search required.
  • 7+ years experience in a relevant data analyst, data science, BI, or digital analytics role, working closely with marketing teams.
  • Proficient in Google Analytics, Excel and other analytical tools required.
  • Experience with using RegEx to identify and parse patterns in data.
  • Prior experience building, testing, and deploying data enhancements and database structures for growing companies.
  • Experience working with data visualization and business intelligence tools like Looker.
  • Experience working with creative teams to develop concepts, build briefs and bring messaging to life.
  • Experience managing paid media programs that are held to specific CPA, LTV, ROAS KPIs.
  • Knowledge of documenting and maintaining data dictionaries, analytics/tech stack diagrams, and other necessary data structure documentation for centralized use.
  • Excellent project management skills with an ability to set and achieve goals, meet deadlines, pivot strategy and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • A self-starting attitude with the ability to work independently and effectively.
