About the position

The Director of Growth for Merchandise Services at SGS & Co is a pivotal role responsible for driving new business development and ensuring a continuous pipeline of diverse projects. This position focuses on leveraging advanced print production capabilities and innovative techniques to meet market needs, while acting as a strategic liaison between potential clients and internal teams. The role requires a visionary leader who can integrate business development initiatives with operational demands to enhance client satisfaction and drive growth in North America.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with other Growth Team members globally, including Directors, VPs, and the EVP of Growth.
  • Serve as the Strategic New Business Leader and primary liaison between potential new clients and internal teams.
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of RFP submissions and manage credential presentations.
  • Identify and respond to client needs, positioning SGS & Co as the first point of contact for new business opportunities.
  • Drive the growth of SGS & Co's new business pipeline, supporting the VP of Growth.
  • Champion the development and expansion of commercial print opportunities, focusing on innovative strategies for POP and POS printing.
  • Sell and manage the production of sales samples and mockups for new product launches.
  • Develop and market short-run print production for customized client projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Sales.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in new business, account management, and/or leadership.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience working with clients on packaging, reprographics, production print, and marketing communications.
  • Proficient using Mac OS, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PPTX.
  • Experience in Client Service and leading Client relationships/partnerships.
  • Experience in a commercial print environment.

  • Ability to command an audience and present to large groups/clients.
