About the position
The Director of Health and Wellness (RN) at Windsor Manor is responsible for managing the Resident Services Department and coordinating with healthcare providers to ensure high-quality care for residents. This full-time role requires strong clinical skills, leadership abilities, and a commitment to serving seniors and their families.
Responsibilities
- Oversee Resident Services Department
- Coordinate with external healthcare providers to provide quality care to residents
- Daily review of census with Executive Director or designee
- Report falls, hospitalizations, and Hospice residents
- Participate in 24 hours on call
- Monitor daily schedule to maintain compliance and prevent overtime
- Transport residents to and from physician visits
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Active RN license in good standing in the state of Iowa
- 2 years of experience in an assisted living environment preferred
- 3 years of experience in a management and leadership role
- Basic knowledge of Geriatric Nursing principles and State Regulations
- Current CPR Certificate
- Additional certification in Geriatrics is desirable
