Director of Healthcare Project Management - Full Time - Days

About the position

The Director of Healthcare Project Management plans, implements, and evaluates organization initiatives, creating detailed project plans. Oversee healthcare projects from start to finish, monitoring and reporting on the progress throughout the process. Leads all team members involved in the project. This role requires delivering on-time, on-budget results, learning, and integration to meet organization and project needs and maintains effective working relationships at all levels, both internal and external.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in health administration, public health administration, nursing, economics, business administration or other related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in healthcare project management.
• Strong knowledge in project management methodology such as Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma training with Master Black Belt within 12 months of assuming position.
• Strong understanding of the healthcare industry.
• Ability to identify issues, provide solutions, delegate tasks and monitor progress to stay on schedule and on budget.
• Understanding of budget development, control and assurance methods, and project management software.
