About the position

The Director of Human Resources for North America at Ainsworth Game Technology is a senior-level role based in Las Vegas, responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources including recruitment, performance management, employee culture, and compensation strategies. This position plays a critical role in shaping the HR functions across the enterprise, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a productive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee employee recruiting, hiring, and retention plan and strategy
  • Manage and motivate staff; reviews and assesses performance, builds employee capacity, supports their professional development, and enables employees to optimize their contribution to the department
  • Drive common Human Resources processes and systems across the enterprise
  • Develop and implement compensation strategy and planning
  • Manage internal communications and messaging
  • Succession planning and development at all levels
  • Develop executive coaching and leadership training plan
  • Lead North America human resource functions
  • Oversee benefits and retirement plan administration
  • Ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of core HR programs
  • Ensure operational excellence and compliance with all HR related programs and processes
  • Ensure compliance with various requirements of EEOC, OSHA, ERISA, Wage & Hour and other regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years' work experience in a similar position/environment
  • Public Company experience preferred
  • Must be a reliable and trustworthy individual with a sense of urgency
  • Must be highly organized with sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task
