About the position

In this pivotal role, you will drive global HR excellence and lead transformative mobility programs within a dynamic environment. Reporting directly to the VP of Human Resources, you will support both international and domestic employee relocations, expatriate assignments, and coordinate immigration activities. Your leadership will be crucial in managing the HR Operations team, ensuring that they are equipped to handle the complexities of HR processes and systems effectively. You will engage in meaningful work that supports international assignments and relocations, while also fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the HR function. As a Director, you will be responsible for optimizing HR processes and systems, providing expert HR advice on policies, processes, and procedures, and resolving complex HR operational queries. You will ensure the integrity and security of HR data, which is vital for maintaining trust and compliance within the organization. Your role will also involve collaborating closely with various stakeholders, including Recruiting, Legal, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, Business Leaders, and outside vendors, to ensure seamless operations and support for international assignments. In the realm of Global Mobility, you will manage the entire lifecycle of international assignments, from initiation to completion. This includes preparing necessary international documents, managing compensation changes, and ensuring accurate year-end tax reporting. You will also support the onboarding of expatriates and international hires, while managing domestic relocation services in collaboration with third-party vendors. Your ability to work closely with managers to understand their relocation needs and processes will be key to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop the US HR Operations team
  • Optimize HR processes and systems
  • Provide HR advice on policies, processes, and procedures
  • Resolve complex HR operational queries
  • Ensure HR data integrity and security

  • Collaborate with International and host country HR on expatriate assignments

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field
  • 8+ years of HR experience
  • Experience in people management or mentoring within HR
  • 3+ years' experience with international and domestic relocation programs
  • Basic understanding of US and international tax laws
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent process improvement skills
  • Service mentality with excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to explain complex concepts clearly
  • Flexible and adaptable in a changing work environment
  • Excellent communication skills
