About the position

The Human Resources Manager at Harmony Hill School will oversee all aspects of the human resources function within the organization, implementing HR strategies that align with the company's objectives. This role is crucial for managing the full employee life cycle, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and fostering a positive working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full employee life cycle from recruitment to offboarding.
  • Oversee benefits administration and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with senior leadership to address HR-related issues and provide strategic guidance.
  • Utilize systems for data management and reporting of information for the AA program.
  • Nurture a positive working environment.
  • Successfully manage employee relations issues working with the appropriate level of management.
  • Monitor workers compensation program.
  • Maintain positive relations with all vendors.
  • Manage the completion of audits, surveys, OSHA filing, I-9's and AA data.
  • Ensure effective human resources management practices are in place.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (graduate degree preferred) and certification in Human Resources Management preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years' Human Resources experience.
  • Proven experience in human resources management.
  • Full service recruitment and onboarding experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail oriented and organized.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Familiarity with benefits administration and payroll processes.
  • Experience in senior leadership collaboration.
  • Knowledge of change management principles and practices.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
