About the position

The Director of Implementation at gWorks is responsible for leading client onboarding and migration efforts, ensuring a seamless transition to the company's cloud-based technology. This role focuses on enhancing client experiences, optimizing integration processes, and developing a high-performing team to support the company's mission of empowering local governments through innovative software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and streamline the onboarding of new clients and migration of existing clients to gWorks' SaaS platforms.
• Implement innovative, self-service focused strategies for data migration and client integration.
• Develop processes and tools for efficient, automated data migration/import.
• Optimize handoff processes between Sales, Onboarding, and Customer Experience teams.
• Manage, mentor, and develop the Client Integration team, fostering innovation and collaboration.
• Create and execute training programs for the Client Integration team.
• Develop and execute strategic plans for onboarding and migrating clients.
• Build and maintain robust relationships with clients during their onboarding and migration journey.
• Regularly evaluate and enhance client integration and migration processes.
• Maintain effective collaboration with Sales, Product Development, and Customer Support teams.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years in a client onboarding or integration role, with 5 years in a leadership position.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, IT, or related field.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent client relationship management skills.
• Proficient in project management and process optimization.
• In-depth knowledge of SaaS platforms and cloud-based technology.
• Comprehensive knowledge of technical aspects related to onboarding and integration within the SaaS industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the public sector or local government software solutions.
• Familiarity with GIS technology and its applications in local government.
