About the position

The Director of Information Systems & Security at CreditServe will lead the operations of a data center, ensuring secure and efficient management of both on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure. This role requires extensive technical expertise in cloud technologies, particularly Azure, and strong leadership skills to manage a team of system administrators, network engineers, and cybersecurity professionals. The Director will be responsible for developing and enforcing a comprehensive information security strategy, overseeing data center operations, and managing cybersecurity risk, while also leading large-scale IT projects and fostering team development.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive information security strategy.
• Manage and deploy security tools, including firewalls and SIEM solutions.
• Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify security gaps.
• Oversee incident response procedures and manage security breaches.
• Implement network segmentation and least privilege access models.
• Participate in compliance audits and prepare technical documentation.
• Install, configure, and manage Dell servers in a Windows environment.
• Manage server hardware components and ensure optimal performance.
• Lead the strategy and management of cloud environments, primarily Microsoft Azure.
• Develop and enforce security policies and protocols for data protection.
• Lead, mentor, and manage teams of system administrators and cybersecurity professionals.
• Manage large-scale IT projects, ensuring they meet timelines and budgets.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in system administration and data center operations.
• Strong hands-on experience with Dell servers in a Windows environment.
• Expertise in virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Experience in disaster recovery planning and backup technologies.
• Proficiency in cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
• 5+ years of managing and supporting cloud infrastructure, particularly Microsoft Azure.
• 5+ years of experience leading IT teams and managing large-scale projects.
• Excellent communication skills for translating technical concepts.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with regulatory and compliance standards such as SOC 2 or GDPR.
