About the position

The Chief of Staff at Arnold Ventures plays a pivotal role in driving the operations of the infrastructure team, providing strategic counsel to leadership, and managing key projects. This position is essential for enhancing the team's efficiency and effectiveness in addressing critical infrastructure challenges in the United States, including housing shortages, energy needs, and transportation systems. The Chief of Staff will collaborate with various stakeholders, support the development of strategic objectives, and ensure alignment across the organization to maximize impact.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with the Infrastructure EVP and VPs to prioritize decisions and manage time effectively.
• Manage the team's operations to maximize impact, efficiency, and alignment.
• Support the EVP and VPs in creating presentation materials, memos, and background briefs for meetings.
• Drive key departmental processes including hiring, recruitment, onboarding, and budgeting.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams to advance strategic goals.
• Produce consolidated reporting for the EVP, tracking ongoing grants and coordinating data across teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years of relevant work experience in operational and project management, policymaking, and communications.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership, people management, and relationship-building skills.
