The Director of Infrastructure Development will lead our new-build and expansion projects from start to finish, including site selection, permitting, design, and construction management. This role requires technical and project management expertise to oversee multiple projects across Treatment, Storage, and Disposal Facilities (TSDFs), 10-day facilities, deep wells, thermal processing, landfills, and other treatment technologies. In this position, you will provide strategic oversight for the design, implementation, and delivery of infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational objectives. You will lead the overall development and execution of strategic plans for waste management infrastructure projects throughout the US, providing support for our field organization. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the design and permitting process for new waste management projects, ensuring meticulous planning of project timelines, budgets, and resources to achieve timely and cost-effective project completion. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineering, regulatory and government affairs, and construction, will be crucial to coordinate project activities and ensure alignment with project goals. Additionally, you will maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, community organizations, and industry partners, and work with our internal environmental compliance team to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, standards, and best practices related to waste management and environmental protection.
