About the position
The Director of Inpatient and Outpatient Treatment Services at St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center is a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, responsible for overseeing the design, development, evaluation, and effective operation of adult inpatient and outpatient treatment programs. This role involves strategic planning, policy establishment, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while fostering collaborative relationships with external organizations to enhance service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the development of SLPC's short and long term goals
- Establish policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
- Oversee admissions and discharge process
- Monitor and oversee staffing, assignments, and work schedules to ensure quality patient care
- Ensure service delivery complies with OMH guidelines and regulatory agency standards
- Maintain working relationships with external organizations to maximize resources and implement program goals
- Supervise and coordinate activities of subordinate managers
Requirements
- Master's degree in a mental hygiene discipline or related field
- Six years of administrative, consultative, or supervisory experience in a mental health program
- Two years of managerial experience in a relevant setting
- Experience as administrative head of a multi-disciplinary treatment team or in the development and operation of mental health service delivery systems
- Eligibility to participate in Federal health care programs
