About the position

The Director of Insights & Analytics is responsible for leading the data and analytics strategy within the organization, focusing on shopper and consumer data to support marketing initiatives. This role involves overseeing the creation of dashboards, managing data integration challenges, and fostering cross-functional relationships to enhance consumer engagement and retention.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the creation and maintenance of dashboards and insights for shopper and consumer data.
• Solve complex data integration requirements across multiple systems and teams.
• Manage and prioritize team requirements for large datasets and coach team members in preparing insights.
• Communicate findings in writing and visual formats to stakeholders.
• Lead and manage data scientists, analysts, and analytics managers in data orchestration and visualization.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to amplify consumer engagement, retention, and acquisition.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, Business, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
• 3-5 years of experience in data integration, database management, and dashboard creation.
• 1-3 years of experience in team management and delivering actionable insights using data and analytics.
• Proficiency in SQL database and SQL queries.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBi, Tableau, or Looker Studio.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Tealium or comparable Customer Data Platforms (CDP).
• Familiarity with project management tools like Clickup or Planner.
• Knowledge of syndicated retail data platforms such as Nielsen or IRI.
