About the position

The Director of Integrated Marketing Operations at Atlanta United F.C. is responsible for leading and optimizing the marketing operations and fan engagement team. This role involves strategic planning, execution, and analysis of marketing campaigns to drive operational efficiency and ensure coordination among various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marketing technologies and a proven track record in managing complex, multi-channel marketing operations, particularly in a fast-paced environment like sports.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement marketing operations strategies that support ticket sales and service goals.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of integrated marketing campaigns across all channels.
  • Serve as a liaison between ticket sales, service, and integrated marketing teams to ensure optimized lead generation and conversions.
  • Lead the team in utilizing data to drive marketing decisions and analyze customer behavior and ticket trends.
  • Collaborate with sales, service, and partnership teams to align marketing initiatives with business objectives.
  • Manage external relationships and optimize marketing budgets for maximum ROI.
  • Lead and mentor the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relative experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in marketing operations and campaign management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Deep understanding of omni-channel marketing and marketing technologies (CRM, automation platforms, analytics tools).
  • Proven media buying experience and experience with CRM and email marketing.
  • Experience handling marketing budgets and forecasting/reporting results.
  • Demonstrated experience with reporting and data analysis.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge and passion for sports, specifically Major League Soccer (MLS).
  • Understanding of the Atlanta United fan base and market.
