About the position

The Director of Internal Communications at Filevine is a strategic role focused on ensuring clear and inspiring communication of the CEO's vision and key initiatives to all employees. This position is pivotal in fostering a unified company culture, enhancing organizational alignment, and driving employee engagement through a comprehensive internal communications strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with the CEO and executive team to craft messages that effectively convey the CEO's vision, strategy, and priorities.
  • Create, review, and refine written, visual, and video content to communicate strategic initiatives and key business updates.
  • Develop presentations and talking points for the CEO and other executives for company-wide meetings and leadership events.
  • Organize and support in-person communication sessions to promote transparency and accessibility to leadership.
  • Design and implement a multi-channel internal communications plan leveraging Slack, video, and email.
  • Build systems for capturing employee feedback to gauge the effectiveness of internal communications.
  • Ensure all communications align with the company's brand, tone, and culture.
  • Work cross-functionally with all departments to support internal communications needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in internal communications or corporate communications, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated experience in a technology-driven organization is preferred.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills.
  • Strong proficiency with internal communication tools, including Slack and video conferencing platforms.
  • High emotional intelligence, with the ability to handle sensitive communications.
