About the position
The Director of IT will oversee IT operations, manage internal policies and procedures, and liaise with external vendors. This role involves troubleshooting issues faced by internal users, rolling out security training, conducting assessments, and planning implementations for new systems. The Director will also collaborate closely with the CFO for budgeting and provide proactive updates on IT needs. Flexibility is essential as daily responsibilities may vary, and some travel may be required quarterly to other locations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee IT operations and manage internal policies and procedures.
- Liaise with external vendors and manage communication.
- Troubleshoot issues faced by internal users.
- Roll out new security training programs.
- Conduct assessments and plan implementations for new systems.
- Collaborate with the CFO for budgeting and proactive updates on IT needs.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience within IT Operations.
- Prior leadership experience.
- Experience working or leading a help desk.
- Experience working with a variety of vendors.
- Strong security background with an understanding of security programs and applications.
- Experience creating and implementing policies and procedures related to security, help desk, or network certifications.
Nice-to-haves
- Prior professional services experience with CPA or law firms.
